The Misadventures of Nox My parents have witnessed my weirdness coming out in Dinosaur Noises and they think I am absolutely bizarre. I also make dinosaur noises when I'm trying to get out of bed in the morning and can't because sleep is too good.
I get super slap-happy when I'm tired and excited at the same time too. Sadly, I don't think I've ever consciously made dinosaur noises during this time though...usually I just make Wookie sounds at people.
When I get hyper I sometimes start making an evil chuckle which builds to maniacal laughter....my family tell me off all the time, they say it's annoying...don't the fools realize that is an invitation to do it even more?? When I am annoyed or angry I sometimes growl or snarl...I guess it stems from the fact that I have a dog. He really responds to me when I do that..he was doing something naughty one day, and I told him to stop in my normal voice and he ignored me. I snarled at him and his reaction was like 'woah! Alpha in the house, sorry pack leader, will behave now!'
Haha! When I snarl at my dogs, they just look at me weird and think something along the lines of "Why is she making those noises again?" because I don't think they realize that they're dogs... more like short humans without a speaking disability.
I didn't notice all that much that i growl sometimes until i was playing cards with my family during vacation and my cousin asked "did you just growl at me?" and i was like "oh uh... i guess... sorry...."
on a related note, i can do a pretty spot on heath ledger joker impersonation, and sometimes i talk as the joker... i also hum to myself in his voice sometimes... unintentionally..., it creeps people out lol...
and he's not even my favorite joker, i like mark hamill animated series joker more, but ever since i found out i could do heath ledger's joker voice i can't stop
I don't think anyone had any such type of recording device when the dinosaurs lived. Technically speaking, it's impossible to know what they sounded like. (unless someone really does invent something that brings a dinosaur from the past into our time or the other way around XD)
Sometimes, I don't have to be tired, I just have to be excited and comfortable. Like yesterday, I was re-watching Rise of the Guardians and when I saw the sand dinosaur I squealed and roared for like three minutes. XD
I meow. A lot. I think it's because when I was little I tried to summon all the feral cats around the neighborhood by meowing... Hehe, 'cause it's every little child's dream... To be surrounded by faithful, feline minions >: D . I got better and better and better at meowing until at one point, about 8 cats came and looked at me with bewildered/annoyed looks. Hehe, it was fun, but now I'm stuck with the habit of answering in meows when I don't want to say yes/no or when I'm just too lazy to express myself with words.
