CrushI feel as if I'm being crushed by invisible weight
And as if I'm being dragged down by invisible chains.
I made up my mind and have chosen the path I want to take.
I take that path, though I know of all the hurts and all the pains.

Leave me alone.
I want to stay.
I'll be alright.
It'll be Ok.
Because nothing
You could ever say
Could stop me going down that way.

I tag along blindly, knowing where I end up won't be pretty.
Like a puppy follows her beloved master, so I follow you.
I bet that if I ever saw the sight of me, I'd think "What a pity."
Such a pitiful girl; such a cruel master, and it's all true.

I'll do a little danc

Whiskey, Wine, and WoeWhiskey and wine go hand in hand
The first will burn,
the last will mend

A pair of friends to ease my mind
a closer kinship you'll never find
than whiskey, wine, and mine

Faint GripThis nightmare is brief
I'm suspended in the air
By a rope worn thin
Held in place by the faint grip
Of a wounded rattlesnake

Cruelty On The Haunted ShoresWaves of cold, mysterious ebonite sea,
Washing the harsh muddy shore whilst she,
Treads on lightly, placing her feet slightly,
Gently float of the sky - lovely and nightly.

I - pity lovesick fool, my curious mind,
Delighted by her sight, I'm spellbind.
Although too far to truly adore
The beauty on the miserable shore.

They locked the gates, barricaded the place,
Thirteen autumns back ago, such a disgrace.
How she dwells there, together with sallow moon?
The seals are unhurt, she's singing her pretty tune.

I tried to break the lock, enchanted by her voice,
I've struck it with great force, opened it with rejoice.

37. StrollingI have no words of wisdom with deep meanings embedded.
No smart lines to make you think or provide entertainment.
All I have are my thoughts…

I am not of an intellectual status
Where I subliminally tell you the woes of life
The challenges of the day
And the frustrations of the hour

I am not whimsically inclined
So as to make you chuckle at the world's truth
Smile at the obviousness of life
And smirk when you realize that my truth is your own

I am not in a consistent mind
To assemble the pieces that came undone
To diagnose problems lost to the universe
Or to try and get life's great scheme

I am but of a simple existenc

My mind is my worst enemyI am afraid of my own mind,
It scares me,
It makes me feel Unsafe,
insecure,

It confuses me,
It makes me take bad decisions,
It makes me think the worst, being negative,
It makes me lose opportunities,

Sometimes it gets my hopes up to then disappoint me,
It makes me trust in bad people,
Or doubt of the best ones,

It is too realistic sometimes, it makes me see the
Horrible and cruel reality , or it is too innocent,
It makes me believe in things that wont happen,
Or trust in dangerous people

My mind betrays me,
It makes me suffer,
It makes me fear the future,

Rainy NightThe day had been clear and sunny and bright
But that night I fell asleep thinking of Rain
It wasn't a sad or melancholy Rain,
but a calming and soothing Rain,
the kind that sings you a lullaby as you drift.

There wasn't a cloud in the sky,
but I could hear Rain tapping…
soft rhythms of music I've never heard… tapping
against the roof, against the window, against my fears… tapping.
And as if it was really there, I fell asleep to the sound of Rain.

That next morning, I woke to silence.
It was like the lullaby had ended.

That song which had kept me through the night,
that Rain had played for me on my sleepless night,

Sane InsanityHer mind is a dangerous place;
and when left unattended too long
she could lose that precious thing
that we call sanity.

To the white brick walls;
only revealing themselves
to the wind
and the spiders that climb the corners,
leaving webs of fine thread
to capture the dead leaves and
critters she knows not the name of.
Propaganda,
laced with sickly sweet venom;
adulterated with lies.
For if she should remain there too long
she would choose to clean out the cobwebs,
toss out the leaves
and dead bugs,
and scrub the white walls clean of filth.
Because that color so pure,
is the dirtiest white she's seen.

CrescendoCellos sing an agony of the heart;
an astringent song of parting,
tearing at tears burrowed deep within the iris.

Emptiness fills the void of your absence,
accompanied by an intolerable yearning
which asphyxiates me, submerges me
within tears I leave unshed.

Please mollify me, liberate me,
of your reminiscence, of this attentive desertion;
my trembling whispers cannot stray from your name.
I cannot dream of alien touches, or others' devoted affections:
the salvation provided for the heart I keep in darkness.
and I find I cannot blind it to the joys of light once entirely experienced,
and so candidly felt.

Become The ForestI am but a mere wanderer
In a forest of illusions.
The trees restrain me
With branches like daggers
And I can't make it home.

They lurk in the shadows
Proud like they've been blessed.
I haven't given in
And I will not fall.
There will be no time wasted.

(The peace has been depleted.
I'll win the battle amongst the gods.)

Suddenly I am running down a hall
With creatures chasing after me.
And of course, there's
That one locked door at the end…

Or get beat down! Get beat down!
(And yes, there had to be
A hole on the other side…)

Falling down the abyss…
Slowly falling asleep…

Waltzing his last danceThe hall slowly fills;
there is not a tremor, not a sound.
The silence instills
the beating hearts of those that stand around.
Merriment then swells;
its satiating tremble within so profound
but alas there is but one man,
that waltzes to a tune unfound.

The merriment grows
as heels tap and dresses sway.
The bodies glow
with the light shimmering over the ballet.
The melody flows
for all participants are joyful and gay
yet woeful is the man in the corner
that dances a dance of dismay.

People laugh;
the girls in the hall giggle and pose
on the men's behalf
displaying their ornamented clothes;
the splendor in craft
invit

Blood Brother's PastYour essence engulfs me like the periodic elements
  but my eyes act like a magician and makes you disappear.

My voice impersonates the devil's games
& causes you to stab my ears with hollow
   threats & i'll listen to every one until
    i'm deaf, because i love you as much as I'm
     obsessed with my whiskers.

I'll play blood brothers with you if it
means forever will stain my veins even if
  you inject your goodbyes in them.

I'm marinated in love for you
because of the way you drink in
  my coffee eyes.

I'll never leave.

Grandson of MoonFearless of the darkest midnight
I stride through the shadows that find my path
Though evil haunts my every step
I will not let this dark world control me

The shadows surrounding me
Are the authors of nightmares for many
To me, they are merely shadows
My nightmares are of things worse then the night

BottlesOpening closed doors
and ripping out the souls that lay behind
is not how you help people

When we were young
you told me
"You can't bottle things up, you have to let it out."

But I didn't listen
I filled bottle after bottle
all shapes and sizes

Every emotion
every memory
filed and packed away
for a day that I hoped
would never come

They were in there for a reason,

And you decided
that you had the right
to break them all open
to see the things that lay dormant inside

Not carefully,
one by one
you came in and shattered them
all at once

Broken glass
lay at your feet while we both stare at each other
panting, waiting for

Gallows of the EyeHow loud the shouts and whispers,
Echoing on from invisible tongues.
As melodies sing like acid vapors,
Oh, the profanity has begun.

To storms it is not comparable,
Thunders become a mother’s song.
Even nightmares turn to lullabies,
And monsters leaving on their own.

Coming forth with a hunter’s crouch,
Lying in wait in the darkness’ shade.
Only not in the corners of your room,
But there instead in your guarded mind.

Fight it with fire all you like,
Stare it down with all your might.
The more you purge the more it feeds,
A war that’s won with stronger greed.

One goal crowns its lonely wake,
A feeble little soul liv

So today was my first day at my new school… I made ONE good friend. His name is Gabriel. He’s totally adorable, but unavailable to women. What's the point of having a voice
     if you never use it?
Speak wisely now. No lies.
     Do not abuse it.

Say the truths that are in your heart.
     Take action. Take control. Take part.
Speak out for what you believe.
     And volumes, you shall receive.

Speak loudly
                        Speak proudly
                                                    Speak truth
                                                                            Not lie.
And 'tis your voice, you shall never be denied.

However

What of those      Without voice?
                         Without freedom?
                         Without choice?
Without sound?   Without tongue?
No laugh.
                     No cry.
                                         No lullaby sung.

Dim whispers to       The deaf
                             The ignorant
                             The cold and the cruel
Soft sobs in             The wind
                             The night
                             The nowhere but anywhere
Silent prayer to        Our Father
                             Our Somebody
                             Our Anybody  Out There

For those without voice
Those who cry to be heard
They may scream and shout
But the audience is unperturbed

I can see what you were trying to do with the spacing, and I understand! ^^ My spacing gets messed up all too often as well... Great work!
