Completely dead. It won't even turn on anymore. I think I've lost ALL my data. I may have lost my music, my schoolwork, and all my deviations, images, poems, and my complete story. Safe to say, I may not be able to post anything for a while. The laptop I'm currently borrowing is my dad's and he does not have programs such as Photoshop. It's going to be tough for me.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to even get a new laptop. Don't have the money for it. My dad is taking it to work on Monday to see if one of his workers can figure out the issue. There's nothing wrong ON the hard drive. I know because we managed to start it up once and ran ALL the tests with it and it couldn't find any problems. I'm really hoping my dad can fix it or find someone who can. I probably won't be able to get a new one any time soon.

So, I've been looking at some journal skins lately, been wanting to change it up some, and came across this one. I rather like. Gonna test it out and see where things go from there. Though, I have to say, so far, I don't care for the change of cursor. It's cool, but not quite my thing. Maybe I'll figure out how to take that off...
By the way, if anybody finds a cool journal skin that has a menu bar (like the thing to the left with the buttons and the icons) then you should link it to me. It's a little hard to find good ones that both interest me, suit me, and have a menu bar. I've grown attached to that thing.

Anyway, let me know what you think of this journal skin. I'd be happy to hear it. I've kinda given up on making my own. Oh well.

• I'm rather hating the journal sta.sh writer thing. It forces me to either use completely HTML coding or not. I don't like that. And when I switch from the normal editor to the HTML editor, I get a bunch of crap HTML shoved into my code. This thing is an abomination.

People have been wondering what the hell happened to the HLOI series.
Well, it's not gone... I just need to update the look and I've been too busy/lazy to actually work on this.
Hopefully, I'll have more time once I complete my courses for this semester.

I'm sorry I've been away for a little while... again... HEY! At least it's not as bad as last time!! Or maybe it is... because I can't promise my own safe return. D: THE HORROR!! 

Yeah. So it's a little after 2:45 am where I am. I'm really supposed to be working on an assignment that's due in about twenty-four hours. Yet, procrastination gets the better of me. Procrastination is my friend... but like that annoying friend that won't ever give you a minute of peace to study and do your homework. I've posted several works today simply because of procrastination. I'm considering doing another paper cutting piece. I'm not sure what of though... Have any ideas? Not something too complex though. I am still learning paper cutting.

So here are some things that really mean nothing to anybody:

Here's the deal: The Easter Bunny has lost it. Gone off the deep end. Wacko. Loopy. Twisted. Demented. INSANE. In this contest, I want you to create your own dark, demented, creep-tacular Easter Egg.


There are two art forms with which you can enter this contest with:

For those of you who don't know what Yahtzee is: it's a game played with five die. The goal of the game is to complete a score card of different possible outcomes, such as a straight (1, 2, 3, 4, 5), three of a kind (4, 4, 4), Full House (2, 2, 5, 5, 5), etc. (Note that the numbers are examples and meant to represent patterns not the actual numbers you have to get.) Generally, I just beg for points from people at the end of some of my journals, but that doesn't earn a whole lot. Now, I'm having to put off creating new contests in my groups. I would love to make contests galore, but points are scarce and seem to be the only things to motivate people to participate. (By the way, on my donation pool, it says however much I have advanced towards my "goal" but the donation bar does not go back down when I give points to contest winners. Maybe a year ago? I don't remember. I didn't specifically decide to stop sleeping with stuffed animals, but more like my room was severely overheated and keeping stuffed animals on the bed was just a touch away from suicide by heat stroke.

Basically, I have a lot to say in one journal, so this is all gonna be scattered and possibly nonsensical. Just try to keep up. If you can't, I apologize for my endless ramblings. Well then, let's get started:

The reason I haven't been on in a while:
!. I had homework. It's the most obvious excuse ever. I am in graduate school and I do have homework, and despite my abilities to procrastinate and put it all off until the very last second, I still have to do it.
@. I completely totaled my car. I LOVE MY CHEVY AND IT'S GONE AND I'M GONNA CRY!!! D: The accident wasn't my fault and the insurance is giving us like $7,000 for it. It was the best car ever. I will love it forever. Now I have to drive my mom's big Ford Taurus X. That thing has no kick. But we're looking at new cars now and I'm pretty sure I am getting attached to this brand new KIA Optima. Black exterior, camel cloth interior (I prefer leather, but the cloth in this one isn't bad), all the gadgets, rear view camera, UVO (voice command crap), and device synch options. It's nice.
#. My parents (well, mainly my mom) decided that we needed to redo the flooring in a large section of the house. This took forever. We had cheap new floorboards that would not fit nicely together, so putting the floor down nicely was next to impossible and everybody now hates laminated wood floors. Myself especially because I was the one put in charge of making sure they were done right. But when they're all cheap pieces of crap and don't fit together, there is no right or nice or pretty... or even just Okay. Now the floors look like crap. (The ugly, smelly carpet that was there before doesn't seem so bad anymore.)
$. My parents are having marital issues. Something me and my brother have never experienced between the two of them. So there was a HUGE nuclear meltdown. Me and my brother still do not know WHY there was one. And my parents have decided to move away from each other but still live in the same house, which makes it difficult for everyone involved. The good news is that they have cooled down now. They're talking to each other, they still love each other, they're civilized and acting like nothing happened, except now they live at opposite ends of the house. Which brought another challenge:
%. We are having to prepare a new room for my mom. (My dad is staying in the master.) She decided to move upstairs across the hall from me. Which is sadly the room my dad had used as a workshop... and is thus filled with the heaviest machinery ever that we had to move down the stairs and into the garage.

What about all those damn contests?
!. I am working on creating the journal features for all of those who have won the latest contests for #InsanityInspires. Thank you for being patient with me. Not everyone has responded to my notes, but I'll get around that somehow.
@. I have decided the winners for the THOSE THREE WORDS contest. I should post that soon, but I have family over at the moment and homework to do, but if my procrastination exceeds my will to do anything productive and get good grades, then I should post it today or tomorrow. Anyway, there were about 40 entries, and I have decided on 4 winners.

!. I have been considering for a while creating another lit group called #TheTipsyTypist. For any lit work of any kind. I just like lit, okay? What do ya'll think?
@. On a similar note, I have discovered a new favorite drink of mine: Bacardi Black Razz (Raspberry Rum). It's delicious. I like it straight. I was a little (more than a little, I couldn't keep my head upright) tipsy last night, which is what made me remember that I wanted to create #theTipsyTypist. And never mind that I'm not 21 yet, I was at home with family... very tipsy family.
#. I have a new pad of colorful sticky notes. They haven't made their move on me yet, but I'm keeping my eye on them. Damn perverted sticky notes keep trying to molest me.
$. I'm considering another group, this time for art, simplified art. Group name: #TheLaziestArtist. It'd be a group for very simplified art, not meaning crap scribbles on a paper, but clean and simple art of any kind. It might be the kind of group where newbie artists start simple and grow from or something sweet like that. Let me know what you think.
%. I slept in very late this morning. I woke up at about 12. That's late for me... and considering I went to bed (granted went to bed tipsy) at 12, that's a lot of sleep. Like 12 hours of it. (Not that you couldn't do the math, I just wanted another reason to write 12.)
^. I am caught up on Supernatural. Watched through Season 7 on Netflix and then through what was available of Season 8 on Project Free TV. Castiel is my favorite character.
&. Oh, and I already ate Jimathan, for those of you who didn't know. He was a delicious pineapple.

So... We, =NoxSatuKeir, =MAGlCOW, and *HarleKlown are pretty much drowning in submissions for #InsanityInspires. We need some help in the form of GROUP CONTRIBUTORS. We need admins. We're thinking two or three.
YOUR JOB WOULD BE TO:
    Regulate (approve/disapprove) deviation submissions for the group. You will be briefed as to what is acceptable and what is not and where members are allowed to submit their deviations. It isn't that hard...
    Every once in a while, just check for any errors in the gallery (submissions to the wrong folder, etc) and fix them...
    Contribute ideas for group contests and prizes.
    Contribute prizes for group contests, such as llamas, journal features, commissions, etc. (you do not have to provide points to the contests)
    You must be on deviantART frequently. You're not much help if you're never on. You should also be active on deviantART, like you have deviations, journal posts, and such... (You do not have to have a premium membership or anything fancy.)
    You have to be courteous and polite to people... even if they're going to Hell.
    You must be a member of #InsanityInspires (you don't have to have been for long, but just join (automatic acceptance) and apply)

    We will check out everybody to make a decision.
